Students and Parents:
“Developing great commission adults by providing students exposure to missions.”
God was, is, and always will be intentional. He has a plan to love, save, and care for people (John 3:16). He has a plan to grow and transform people (2 Corinthians 3:18). He has a plan to reach out to us and other people – and we are a part of that plan (Matthew 28:18-20).
And so, we look forward to opportunities to Experience God and play a part in Expanding His Kingdom. We have found from many trips to several different continents that the ‘expanding’ that happens is both personal and ‘others’ oriented. In other words, mission trips are ‘two-way’ trips. We go, love people, and we are transformed. People encounter a group of students from Pittsburgh and they are transformed. It is with this excitement and expectancy of experience and transformation that Student Ministries launches the trip details for Summer 2018. We hope you will journey with us as we experience God and expand His kingdom!
July 8-14, 2018
Students currently in 7th through 9th grades are invited to join the team as we travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We will be staying and working with an organization called YouthWorks. We have been involved in numerous trips with YouthWorks over the years. Their goal is to connect teenagers to God, each other and communities through life-changing Christ-centered mission trips. During the week we will partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community. Some of those needs consist of: Serving at a food shelf, clothing distribution centers, soup kitchens, children’s programs, or community youth centers.
We have 30 student and leader opportunities available for this option - students and leaders will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
